She is a Lady - a gracious and an anointed Woman of God, Minister, Preacher, Teacher, Psalmist, Worshiper, Conference Speaker, Poet and Theatrical Artist ... with passion and compassion she shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that the souls and hearts that see and hear her will change their hearts toward the true and living God... She ministers and imparts life to the wounded, hurting, and lost. She maintains the standard of holiness and godliness; and has a testimony that God is a Keeper and a Lover of her soul! She loves the Lord and she loves people; and her desire is to always please, glorify and serve Him and serve His people!
HER ROOTS
Evangelist Celeste was born in Fauquier County (Midland, VA) and was raised in a Christian home by her loving parents, the late Deacon Charles Robinson, Jr. and Mother Susan Robinson. She has 5 siblings who are all saved and serving the Lord. At the age of 14 years old, she was baptized, saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. Although she was called by God to preach and teach at an early age, Evangelist Celeste did not officially embrace the call until 1998 (when she was licensed and ordained as a Minister). She is currently unmarried and has no children.
Evangelist Celeste graduated from Fauquier High School in June 1982. She has completed two of her four year study at the Carolina University of Theology (NOVA Campus, Manassas, VA). In June 2002, she obtained an Associates Degree in Christian Education, and will complete her study to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree.
LOCAL MINISTRY
Since birth, Evangelist Celeste has attended and been a member of the New Light Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, located in Dumfries, VA. She is covered under the tutelage of her Pastor and Father in the Ministry, Apostle Jerlette Mickie (the founder of New Light was the loving and late Bishop Jesse F. Pemberton). Since saved, Evangelist Celeste has served in many capacities within in the ministry throughout the years (e.g., as Missionary, Youth President, Minister of Music, Head Usher, Program Chairperson of various auxiliaries, etc.). She currently serves in the local Ministry as a Presbytery Board Member, Sunday School Teacher, Praise & Worship Leader, and Outreach Team Member.
NATIONAL EVANGELIST
In June 2001, Evangelist Celeste was appointed and ordained as the National Evangelist for the Moving With A Vision Ministries, Inc. In this capacity, she travels the country preaching and teaching God’s Holy Word, as well as singing Gospel and Inspirational songs at revivals, conferences, retreats, and other events and services. She serves all churches and ministries affiliated with the Moving With A Vision Ministries, Inc. Evangelist Celeste covets your prayers as she fulfills the call and purpose of Him who has sent her!
